Frequently Asked Questions

The tour price typically includes accommodation, meals as specified, park entry fees, professional English-speaking guide, 4x4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, bottled water during game drives, and pickup/drop-off from designated locations. Please check the "Package Included" section above for specific details of this tour.

Essential items include comfortable safari clothing in neutral colors (beige, khaki, olive green), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, camera with extra batteries, binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket for early mornings and evenings. Avoid bright colors and white clothing as they can disturb wildlife.

The best time for wildlife viewing is during the dry season (June to October) when animals gather around water sources and vegetation is sparse, making them easier to spot. However, the wet season (November to May) offers lush green landscapes, fewer crowds, and excellent bird watching opportunities. Each season has its unique advantages.

While travel insurance is not always mandatory, we highly recommend it for all safari tours. It should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and evacuation in case of emergency. Please ensure your insurance covers adventure activities and remote locations.

You can book this tour by filling out the booking form on this page, contacting us via email or phone, or visiting our office. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season (June to October), to secure your preferred dates and accommodation. A deposit is typically required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before departure.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most rewarding safari destinations, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Located in northern Tanzania, the park is especially famous during the dry season when animals congregate along the Tarangire River, offering exceptional game viewing. Tarangire National Park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species, making it ideal for both wildlife and birding safaris. Its open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and riverine landscapes provide a quieter, more exclusive safari experience compared to the Serengeti, while remaining easily accessible from Arusha and the northern safari circuit.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders and a premier safari destination in Tanzania. Formed from a collapsed volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater hosts an exceptionally high concentration of wildlife within its fertile grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. It is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhinoceros, alongside lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and flamingos. As part of the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the crater offers outstanding year-round game viewing, breathtaking scenery, and a unique safari experience within a self-contained ecosystem.
